1. Participation in Seminars
Participation in the seminars of Living Dao is generally possible for everyone interested. However, preconditions are self-responsibility and normal physical and mental resilience.
2. Registration
Registration is to be made through the registration form on the website. The full course fee is to be transferred together with the registration. The number of participants is limited. Registrations and seat reservations will be considered in the order of payments received.
For online courses: Registration is to be made through the registration form on the website. The full course fee is to be transferred together with the registration. Once payment is received, the personal access code will be sent 3 weeks before the online seminar starts.
Full-time students with a valid certificate of enrollment from the university receive a 30% discount on the course fee.
Participants who bring a person who has never attended a Living Dao seminar before, will receive a 20% discount on the course fee when registering.
3. Withdrawal
Deregistration from a seminar must be made in writing. In case of a cancellation up to 6 weeks before the seminar begins, the full seminar fee will be refunded, except for a processing fee of 30 Euro per seminar. For cancellations made from 3 to 6 weeks before the seminar, participants will receive a 50% refund. For cancellations within 3 weeks of the seminar or a no-show on the day of the seminar there will be no refund.
For online courses: the access code for the seminar will be sent 3 weeks before the start of the seminar. Anyone who has received the access code can no longer withdraw from the seminar.
4. Cancellation
A seminar can be cancelled by the organizer due to short-term hindrance or force majeure. If a seminar does not take place for reasons beyond the organizer’s control, the participant will be informed immediately and receive a full refund. Costs incurred by the cancellation of the seminar (such as travel expenses or similar) will not be covered. The organizer reserves the right to relocate the seminar location within Germany and to change the seminar schedule.
5. Liability
Seminar management, organizers, translators and other representatives of Living Dao GmbH are released from any liability and/or guarantee with regard to the purpose of the seminar and the contents conveyed there.
Each participant is individually responsible for the personal interpretation and implementation of the contents presented in the seminars. Living Dao GmbH does not assume any liability for possible damages resulting from personal implementation of the seminar’s contents.
6. Duty to notify
The seminar contents do not replace treatment by a doctor or psychotherapist. Participation in the courses is voluntary and at your own responsibility.
7. Publications
We respect your private data; at the same time, it is important to us to make the path of Living Dao accessible to many. For this purpose, we will take photographs and make audio and video recordings during the seminar and we will use this material for publication (online, print, social media).
Participants of the seminars and online courses agree that photos, sound and video recordings may be made and individual sections may be published in this context by Living Dao or Dao Publishing.
We respect intellectual property rights and expect you to do the same.
All contents of the seminars and online courses are protected by copyright and may not be recorded. Any recording, duplication, modification, distribution or storage of contents of the seminars of Living Dao, especially videos, texts, parts of texts, images – even in extracts – require the prior written consent of Living Dao.
8. Online courses
Out of respect for the instructor as well as the other course participants, each participant agrees to turn on their camera in online courses and meetings so that they are visible to the other participants. Living Dao reserves the right to remove participants from online meetings and seminars who do not turn on their camera. In this case, seminar fees will not be refunded.
By registering, the participant agrees to the terms and conditions.
9. Final clause
Changes and additions to these general terms and conditions are to be made in writing. The current terms and conditions are available on the website. Should one or more provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions will not be affected. The ineffective provision shall be replaced by the contracting parties by mutual agreement by a legally effective provision which comes closest to the economic sense and purpose of the ineffective provision. The above provision shall apply accordingly in the event of loopholes.
